Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Soulee Private Limited (“Soulee”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) collects, uses, protects, and shares information when people use the Soulee mobile app, website, and related services.

1. Information we collect

Account and identity information

This may include your name, username, email address, phone number, date of birth or age information, account type, profile details, authentication identifiers, and Soulee account identifiers.

Profile, content, and communications

We process information that you choose to add to Soulee, including profile information, posts, photos, videos, memories, reactions, relationship and connection information, Zone activity, reports, support messages, and private communications.

Device, security, and technical information

We may process device type, operating system, app version, installation identifiers, push-notification tokens, session and security information, IP-derived information, crash reports, diagnostic logs, and fraud or abuse signals.

Optional permissions

Soulee may request access to features such as your camera, microphone, photos, media, notifications, or location. These permissions are used only when needed for the feature you choose, and they can be controlled through your device settings.

Information may be shared with other people when you post, connect, communicate, join a Zone, or otherwise choose to make information available through Soulee.

We also use trusted infrastructure, hosting, authentication, storage, security, notification, analytics, and technical service providers to operate Soulee. They may process information only to provide services to us and under appropriate safeguards.

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect a person from harm, investigate abuse, enforce our rules, or protect Soulee and its community.

Soulee does not sell personal information.

4. Retention and deletion

We keep information for as long as necessary to provide Soulee, maintain security, resolve disputes, comply with law, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary by the type and purpose of the information.

When an account is deleted, we delete or de-identify associated information from active systems, subject to limited exceptions such as security, fraud-prevention, moderation, legal, backup, and record-keeping requirements. Information already shared with other people may remain in their copies or communications.

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of your personal information. You may also manage many settings directly inside Soulee.

6. Age requirement

Soulee is intended for people aged 16 or older. We do not knowingly allow children under 16 to create Soulee accounts.

7. Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No service can guarantee absolute security, but we continually work to reduce unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, and loss.

8. International processing

Soulee and its providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. We use safeguards appropriate to the information and applicable law.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Soulee develops. The updated date at the top of this page will show when it was last revised.
